Taking care of veterans is important, but, sadly, the traditional resources available to servicemembers often fall short and can leave veterans to fend for themselves.

Sometimes, veterans and their families must rely on alternative resources to meet their needs. Fortunately, there are various agencies and organizations whose purpose is to address any gaps in the benefits that veterans receive. Here are programs we serve and support for American Veterans.

Provide customize wheelchair for Veterans to improve mobility aid and help with their mental health issues by helping them attend community outreach and rehabilitation programs
AVWF delivers groceries, healthy food to veterans on wheelchairs with very limited resources.
Assist Disabled Veterans on their VA appointments.

The Foundation will not maintain an office abroad; its international efforts are focused solely on serving American veterans wherever they live.

The Foundation runs recognition programs such as the "Salute Our Veterans Program," which honors disabled veterans on the Fourth of July and Veterans Day. To reach veterans where the need is greatest, the Foundation works directly with community organizations, tribal leaders, local partners, and volunteers.

These activities are carried out as follows. The programs are conducted primarily by the Foundation's staff and volunteers, with third-party vendors and contractors engaged as needed to supply wheelchairs, mobility aids, and customized beds, and to perform home weatherization work. Services take place throughout the United States in the communities where eligible veterans live, as well as wherever American veterans reside abroad, with outreach coordinated through community organizations, tribal leaders, and local partners. The Foundation devotes the majority of its time and budget to its core wheelchair and mobility aid program, with the remainder allocated across food assistance, transportation, home and energy support, and recognition programs. These activities are funded through public donations, grants, and fundraising events. Together, they directly advance the Foundation's charitable purpose by relieving the hardships of disabled and low-income veterans, restoring their mobility and independence, and meeting their essential daily.
